Brand Launch: Health Quartet

HQPic9

Say hello to the new citrus inspired brand designed for Health Quartet, a nutrition consulting company out of Burnaby BC in Canada. Winnie Hung, M.P.H., R.D. was looking for a fresh new brand to break into the health consultancy market in her area.  She chose very bright, refreshing colors and a very simple main logo with a mix of serif and script fonts. We made a cute little circle submark for stamps and stickers and also created a repeating pattern out of her text logo which she used on the back of her cards and folders. And for fun, we added in some hand drawn food group and citrus elements for her website and print material.

Custom WordPress Website

Once we nailed down the branding, we created a completely custom and user friendly wordpress site for Winnie. The front end of the site beautifully matches her new brand but the backend is just as awesome. We build our wordpress sites to be completely custom and user friendly for each of our clients individual needs. That makes for easy site updates and really happy clients. Winnie will be officially launching her site in the next few week as she works tirelessly on adding content to her blog and resources page, but for now you can check out a preview of the design below. All of these beautiful images are compliments of Joey Armstrong – Thanks so much for your help with this project, Joey!

Brand Refresh and Website Launch: Leslie Kerrigan Photography

It’s been a busy week ’round here and I am so excited to launch this little beauty.  I had the pleasure of working with Leslie, a senior photography guru and founder the popular Seniorologie, on her own personal photography brand styling and custom wordpress website design.  When Leslie and I met, she already had an amazing “LK” mark designed for her by Ashley Jankowski of the so very talented Braizen design team, so she just needed a little brand styling and color palette decisions to go along with her already strong mark before we moved onto her custom wordpress website design. Leslie was amazing to work with and already had a pretty good idea of the direction she wanted to take her new home on the web.  With a little collaboration, we came up with the design and my team of developers worked hard to make it super user friendly for Leslie on the backend…which is almost as awesome as the what you guys see on the front end of the site.  Show Leslie some love and check out some of her amazing work at her new home, lesliekerriganphotography.com!

It’s live!  The new Whiskey and White Events site now online at whiskeyandwhiteevents.com.  This site might be one of my favorites so far with its muted color palette and lovely little details. Build on the WordPress framework, we also added tons of custom features on the backend to make it super easy for Emily to change out photos, content, services, etc without using any code. This site was the final phase in our full branding project which you can read more about here. New Brand Launch: Ashlyn Burke Events

Say hello to the new Ashlyn Burke Events.  Ashlyn is extremely talented event designer & coordinator and also happens to be a very thoughtful person and good friend of mine.  We met back in November about her decision to take the leap and start her own company specializing in wedding and corporate events and I was super flattered when she asked me to design the look of her new business.  She wanted a subtle coastal feel but balanced with a cool, colorful, modern edge. We worked together and created a hand drawn logo and complimentary submark that she can use on all her awesome branded swag.    This is just the start of what is coming for AB Events and you can check out a snap shot of our process below.   We are currently working on the website and can’t wait to show you her new home on the web in the next couple months.

New Website Launch for Llorente Design

I am pumped to show of this colorful, clean new site I designed for Christine, the owner and talented designer at Llorente Design out of Miami Florida.  Christine is a unique client, as she is also a graphic designer and already had a beautiful brand in place before we met.  I am always a tad picky when it comes to designing a site for an already established brand, but I knew when I saw Christine’s style, logo, and color palette that we were going to make a great team.   I also knew she was a lovely person because she is pals with one of my sweetest clients, Haydee of Sweetest Celebrations, down in Miami.  Christine has such a fantastic eye for design and makes some killer paper products for weddings, photobooths, save-the-dates, etc.   So, please take a sec and show Christine some love by visiting her newly launched site!  Christine – Thank you so much for letting me join creative forces with you on this project!

New Brand Launch: Pineapple Studios

Happy {belated} New Year!  I am so excited to finally share the new Pineapple Studios brand and custom WordPress website with you guys today.  Jess, the owner, yoga instructor, and pottery lover, behind Pineapple Studios’ unique concept, came to me back in the fall to help create her new brand.  This project is special to me because it is a local business here in Wilmington, North Carolina. Most of my clients find me from all over the US and beyond {which is totally amazing to work with people all over} but it was nice to work with Jess locally, discuss her vision over a warm cup of coffee, and see her studio come together from start to finish in person.  I had so much fun creating Jess’s brand with a handwritten brush pen and a splash of watercolor and carrying her new look throughout her custom WordPress website.

She is celebrating her grand opening at her studio in downtown Wilmington this weekend.  So, to all my local followers and Wrightsville Beach vacationers, be sure to check out the New Pineapple Studios on Front Street and visit her new site WordPress website we developed at www.lovepineapplestudios.com to learn more.   Jess – good luck with your grand opening this weekend and I can’t wait to get dirty in a pottery class soon!

New Brand Launch: The Fit Foodie

Pretty pumped to show off the new look I created with Carly from The Fit Foodie.   She is a registered dietitian out in San Deigo/La Jolla, CA area who was on a mission to develop a fresh new brand for her business.  Carly was going for a clean, modern look with a touch of hand written scrip and kraft to pull it all together.   We developed a soft, mostly neutral color palette with pops of mint and blush to add a feminine touch.  Carly’s custom WordPress website followed suit with clean white spaces, bold lines and color blocked buttons.  Check out a snapshot of the new Fit Foodie Brand below and be sure to visit her new site to see more.  Carly – Thanks for trusting me with your new brand!  I enjoyed working with you and can’t wait to see where you take your new business from here.

New Website Launch: Bliss Bridal Beauty

I’ve can’t wait to show off this awesomely clean, feminine site I did for Marissa over at Bliss Bridal Beauty.  This was the last step in our branding project together (check out my previous blog about Bliss’s brand) and I think the new site ties her lovely brand together perfectly.  We will be dressing up the reviews page in the coming weeks with some images of her fans as they come in, but I wanted to go ahead and let you guys take a peak.   This is just one of the sites I have going live while we wrap up this year, so check back for more web design by Salted Ink on the blog soon.
