Brand Launch: Bash + Butter

BashandButterBrandInsta

Bash + Butter is a new sweet styling studio curated by the lovely Lacee Muller and serving the Denver Colorado area.  Her dessert tables and treats are not only beautiful but made from only the highest quality ingredients as well.    To start, Lacee and I worked together to develop a colorful palette that she thought fit her new brand to a tee.  You can follow a few snapshots of our branding process below.

  • I love this design! I used the same fonts in my own logo design and love the way they look together. I’m currently working on my new website and blog, and wondered which fonts you would recommend for the main headers, sidebar header, navigation, etc. I thought using Gotham Condensed would compete too much with the main logo, but didn’t know if I should use Gotham Extra Light (Book/Medium/Bold) for everything?

    • Hi Marci – Thanks for stopping by and very cool that you are liking these two fonts together as well. For the website, it would be hard to say without seeing the design but I would use something more bold for the headers and a thinner, cleaner font for the paragraph text. Again, so hard to say when I don’t really know what your design looks like but I hope it turns out awesome for you!

  • Hey, really love your work. Can you tell me what the script font is that you used in the second row of the logo concepts. Seen that font before but not sure what its called. Thanks 🙂

    • Hi Chris and thanks for your compliment. That second row is hand lettered with a sumi watercolor brush by yours truly. Thanks!

      • I’m with Chris and I am so much in love the script! Do you ever do just one word or only full sessions? I love your work!
