New Brand Launch: Lean In Lifestyle | Curated by Jodi Skulsky

The new Lean In Lifestyle, Curated by Jodi Skulsky, is going to be the new go-to blog to find the latest trends in fashion, eco friendly kids products, recipes, wellness, a sexy pair of heals…really, all that a woman needs to know in one place!  Jodi’s vision for her new brand was clean, modern, neutral colors with a touch of feminine vintage {so yes, she had me at hello}.  We went right to work, found the perfect mix of fonts and created a clean logo with a modern circle logo as a secondary look.  I’m just in love with these colors and can’t wait for her new blog to launch soon!

New Website Launch: Octavia & Brown

If you love vintage as much as I do, you will love this next project.  Angela of Saffron Avenue & I had the awesome opportunity to work together with the vintage experts of Octavia & Brown on the design of their new website, brand refresh, and a couple of cool marketing pieces to match.  Liz, the brains behind the O&B operation, had a vision and we worked with her to bring that vision to life.  She already had an awesome brand in place so we designed the new site around her current logo but switched up the color palette and added in some fun new elements to give it a modern/vintage look.  Angela and I started by creating a branding board with new colors, elements, and backgrounds.  We also added in and customized the RW Elephant software that helps Liz manage and show off her inventory and ties in perfectly with her WordPress based site.  Take a look at the screen shots, branding board and marketing pieces below and be sure to visit www.octavia-brown.com to learn more about O&B.  If you love vintage, you’ve got to check out Liz’s collection!

New Brand Launch: FTM Travel & Fairy TripMother

Meet FTM Travel, the experts in Disney vacation travel and itinerary planning.  I had the wonderful opportunity to work with the owners of FTM Travel, Christy and Jami, on their rebranding project this spring.  Being an authorized Disney vacation planner, these girls have a lot of rules to follow from Disney so it made the creative process a bit interesting.  However, we came up with a simple and clean logo in a whimsical font that represented their business and also passed the Disney compliance.  We then designed a site to match their brand perfectly, giving their clients and prospective clients a pleasant, user friendly online experience.  If you are looking to take a Disney vacation, these are your girls…visit them online at www.ftmtravel.com.

New Brand Launch: Si Jolie Wedding and Event Design

I was excited to work with Katie, the owner of Si Jolie Wedding and Event Design, on this project because our styles really seemed to mesh right off the bat.  She wanted something timeless and romantic with a touch of fun and flirty for her new business that focuses on uncovering the personality of the bride and groom through her wedding design process.  We used peach, blush and a rose gold glitter to paired with the lovely Bickham Script Pro font to create a simple yet lovely brand to launch Si Jolie!

New Brand Launch: Jon Hartman Photography Co.

I am super excited to show off this awesome retro brand refresh for Jon Hartman Photography Co.  This was a business branding project we received through Mint 102 and Angela {my awesome business partner in Mint 102 and owner of Saffron Avenue} and I worked with Amy and Jon, the power couple behind the camera, to develop the full brand that they were looking for.  We started with their current logo, {which we knew had great potential} made a few typography tweaks, added subtle element flairs, and topped it off with a grunge effect.  We then brewed a retro cool color palette, texture and pattern combo to complete their business brand.  We just love their new look and are designing their pricing sheet as we speak.  A big thanks to Jon and Amy for the opportunity to work with them on this project!  Please check out their amazing work at Jon Hartman Photography Co.

COASTAL ROOTS BRAND LAUNCH!

I had the opportunity to work with Coastal Roots through the Lemonstripe Collective.  David, the owner and brains behind this operation, was fantastic to work with and the idea behind their new brand definitely appeals to the coastal lovers out there.  They have created a brand that signifies loyalty to our coastlines and really reflects the true essence of coastal living.  Being a resident of Wilmington for over 12 years now and a coastal lover myself, I was really pumped to work with these guys and can’t wait to see where this new brand goes from here!  Be sure to check them out online at www.coastal-roots.com and stay tuned for their online store coming soon.

Lemonstripe Collective Brand Launch!

For those of you that don’t know, I am the lead graphic designer for the Lemonstripe team along with some other amazing talents in video and web production so this new brand was very near and dear to my heart. I helped found Lemonstripe over 3 years ago with Tom Peterson, Lemonstripe’s video guru, and it had certainly outgrown its former logo.  They work with everyone from local businesses to pharmaceutical companies trying to break into the US market so we really wanted this logo to appeal to the masses.  We designed something simple and sophisticated and topped it off with a little fun retro twist.  I hope you enjoy their new logo, it sure looks awesome on all of the new marketing material!
