I had the privilege to work with the this strong, sexy and talented lady on her new brand development this past fall and I just love how it all came together. Ali is a nationally certified and trained Pilates and fitness instructor & an ACE certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist transforming her clients lives up in Boston MA. She really wanted a fierce yet feminine new look and her awesome photo shoot by the talented Lucie Wicker Photography just fits her new vibe perfectly. Here’s a peek into our design process…

I am SO excited to share this gorgeous new brand that the super talented girls of Luxe Events and I have been working on these past few months. Jenny and Cara, the creative and oh-so organized powerhouse duo behind Luxe out in San Diego, were the coolest and sweetest clients I could have ask for. Their style is completely on point and their kindness and enthusiasm throughout the project made this transformation one of my favorites to date. These girls are simply the best at what they do and I would totally hire them in a heartbeat. Brand Launch: Green Clean Co.

Happy 2015 all. So we are already more than half of the way through January and I am just now writing my first blog of the year…yikes. I feel like I am just getting caught up from my little holiday sabbatical but it does feel so good to be back and in the swing of things. Here is a little brand I had the honor of designing back in October for the lovely Katie, owner of Green Clean Organic Home Cleaning Company in Canada. Katie really wanted to stand out from her competition in the area and loved the idea of a very glam color palette complete with gold glitter, a bold black and several shades of coral and peach. Already a fan of the retro style, she went with a slightly throwback circular logo and we were able to keep a little consistency from her old brand by refurbishing her little cleaning lady icon from her previous logo as an element in her new brand. We moved to Raleigh in June but have been doing a lot of traveling for Scott’s away rotations these past few months so I really haven’t gotten settled into our apartment yet. While we have one more 4 week stint in Charlotte coming up to end our nomadic phase, I plan on getting this place looking like a home when we return. Scott and I did a little splurge and purchased some awesome slip covered Pottery Barn furniture (totally key if you have 2 chocolate labs that think they are humans) when we moved – which we love – but I am dying to do start adding some personality up in this place. I’ve started a little wish list while I put together a plan and thought I would share just a few of the things that caught my eye (links included below). Happy shopping!

Setting the Mood for the New Dalla Vita Brand

Here is a sneak peek of our inspiration for the new Dalla Vita brand design we will be launching in the coming weeks. Cali, owner and creative director of Dalla Vita, is the artist and green thumb behind this awesome new succulent delivery company out in the Santa Barbara area. We are just putting the finishing touches on her new brand and can’t wait to show off the new look so very soon.

Another Peek at an Awesome Brand in the Works

We’ve got mood boards galore going on over here at Salted Ink and this one for Robertson Design/Build is refreshingly masculine with a green build undertone. I loved the feeling this color palette sets with the combo of the dark grays/wood paired with the sky blue and organic green. We will be wrapping up this new brand next week and look forward to sharing the final result here in a bit.

Sneak Peek: Whiskey & White Events Branding Inspiration

Here is a quick tease on an elegant brand with a slight edge for Whiskey & White Events out of Raleigh, NC. This inspiration board inspired our hand lettered/serif combo creation we are wrapping up this week so I thought I’d get your creative juices going with our mood board compilation below.
