New Brand Launch: Laura James Studio

Laura James is an amazing photographer out on the west coast specializing in children, families and food. I had the privilege of working with Laura on her recent rebranding project and we had a lot of fun bringing her colorful new brand to life. She LOVES flamingos with a subtle botanical flair and wanted to somehow incorporate that style into her new look. We established a bright color palette grounded by the crafts and creams she will be using in her packaging and client materials. She also needed a few logo variations that were USB printer friendly so the horizontal logo variations were developed to give her an alternative look and worked perfectly for her new watermark as well. A huge thank you to Laura for letting Salted Ink bring her new brand to life and and lending us the lovely photos below to display her new watermark.

New Brand Launch: Twenty-One Films

Man, I wish I had met Phil McInnis and his team at Twenty-One Films before I had gotten married. Their handcrafted approach to videography is just truly amazing and we really wanted that feeling to translate into the development of their new brand. While weddings are their bread and butter, they also produce high end promotional/commercial videos as well so it was important that their new look appealed to both brides and businesses alike. We went with a vintage film/hand crafted design for the logo and a gender neutral color palette that complimented the kraft we plan on using in their print material. We will be working on their website in the upcoming months but please take a moment to check these guys out if you are in the Raleigh/Triangle area and need a fantastic videography company!

New Website Launch: Octavia & Brown

If you love vintage as much as I do, you will love this next project. Angela of Saffron Avenue & I had the awesome opportunity to work together with the vintage experts of Octavia & Brown on the design of their new website, brand refresh, and a couple of cool marketing pieces to match. Liz, the brains behind the O&B operation, had a vision and we worked with her to bring that vision to life. She already had an awesome brand in place so we designed the new site around her current logo but switched up the color palette and added in some fun new elements to give it a modern/vintage look. Angela and I started by creating a branding board with new colors, elements, and backgrounds. We also added in and customized the RW Elephant software that helps Liz manage and show off her inventory and ties in perfectly with her WordPress based site. New Brand Launch: Monty Miller’s Bootcamp | Fitness for Women

Monty Miller came to us looking to refresh his already hugely successful Bootcamp for Women brand located right here in Wilmington, NC. To achieve the new look, we took a mix of script and rugged fonts that came together in perfect harmony. The result embodies the feminine vibe yet badass mentality that Monty’s Bootcamp ladies love. We also designed matching business cards and a print ad that will be hitting the streets soon.

Motivational Poster Design for Without Limits & The Wrightsville Beach Marathon
